Condenaron a Arda Turan a dos años y ocho meses de prisión por disparar un arma al suelo, dentro de un hospital, y no tener la licencia para portar el arma de fuego.

Turan está libre e ingresará a prisión sólo si comete un delito en los próximos años, pues no apeló la sentencia que le dieron.

Arda es un futbolista turco de 32 años de edad, que juega para el Estambul Başakşehir FK de la Superliga de Turquía.

Turan jugó para el Altético de Madrid y Barcelona, mismo que lo cedió a su actual equipo en  2018.

El futbolista estuvo involucrado en un escándalo con un famoso cantante turco, quien aseguraba que Turan abusó de su mujer.

Arda negó las acusaciones de Sahin y para mala suerte de ambos, se encontraron tiempo después, en 2018, en una discoteca, donde se enfrentaron a golpes.

El futbolista le rompió la nariz al cantante, mismo que se tuvo que trasladar al hospital por lo grave de las heridas propiciadas por el futbolista.

Turan, no conforme, visitó a Sahin en el hospital con un arma de fuego, la cual no tenía licencia para portar, y según declaró, el arma se disparó por accidente en el suelo del centro médico.

El Tribunal absolvió al futbolista de las denuncias de acoso sexual, pero lo encontró culpable por lesiones intencionadas, tenencia ilícita de armas de fuego y por disparar dentro de un hospital.

Arda aceptó y no apeló la sentencia del Tribunal, por lo que tendrá que ingresar a la cárcel sólo si comete un delito en los próximos cinco años.
